Join us for our annual summer retreat at the very special Meditation Centre in beautiful Dentdale The retreat offers you an opportunity to focus on and deepen your practice in a peaceful setting. It is open to those with at least two years’ yoga experience. The programme provides free afternoons to explore the local area or just relax. Taught by Kirsten & Richard Agar Ward

A peaceful haven set in beautiful countryside between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. A former chapel converted and maintained to a high standard with underfloor heating and serene ambience. The Centre has some yoga equipment but in the current circumstances please bring your own (




Friday 7 August  5.00 pm  – 7.00 pm Welcome class

Saturday 8 August 7.45 am – 12.30 pm Pranayama & Asana (includes a break)

Sunday 9 August 8.15 am – noon Pranayama & Asana (includes a break)

Monday 10 August 7.45 am – 12.30 pm Intermediate Level (optional extra day)


There are many B&Bs and several campsites in Dent. See

Getting there

By car – Dent is easily accessible from Junction 37 of M6 or A65 or A1.

By train. On the main West coast line alight at Oxenholme (16 miles away) & take s taxi or bus. Or take the scenic Leeds-Settle-Carlisle line, alight at Dent Head (4 miles away) – unstaffed so you will need to pre-arrange onward travel.
