Why Use Yoga Props?
The ancient yogis used materials such as logs, stones and ropes to help them practise. Yogacharya Sri BKS Iyengar developed this and invented props which allow asanas to be more accessible and to be held for longer, without strain.
NB It is important to learn how to use Yoga props correctly – we recommend you follow the instructions of a certificated IYENGAR yoga teacher
No liability will be accepted for injury or damage caused by any item we sell, howsoever caused.
YogaSupplies began in 1987 when Richard started selling Pune belts. Since then we have grown and extended our range but have stuck to our principles.
We only sell authentic Iyengar Yoga props and Iyengar yoga books. We believe the props should be the correct dimensions and weights as designed by BKS Iyengar; we don’t cut corners or dimensions to cut costs. No gimmicks just genuine and useful equipment.
We usually dispatch within 1-2 working days (allow 10 days in school holidays). Our prices are for most of mainland Britain. Sorry we have to charge more for Highlands, Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, Channel Island and the rest of the EU and beyond as our costs are higher – please enquire for postage prices for rest of UK and overseas.
Our minimum charge (for CDs & small books) is £1.50. Our minimum charge for other items is £3.95 but you can order quite a few things to go in one parcel at this rate so it makes sense to buy two or three things at the same time to save on your costs.
If you attend a class or workshop with Kirsten or Richard we may be able to deliver in person. Please ask.
All goods remain the property of Bath Iyengar Yoga Centre until paid for in full.
We maintain good stock levels of our Yoga Centre t-shirts. With our other yoga clothing stock levels vary quite a bit so it’s best to contact us before placing your order to find out if we have the size and colour/pattern you would like.
Our rates on bulk purchases are very competitive. Simply click on the multiple options to get your discounted price.
